By participating in Rent Square Property Management’s Referral Program (“program”), you are stating that you (“referrer”) agree to be bound by the below terms and conditions in their entirety.  The program rewards you for what you already do — recommending us to personal connections with rental properties and who would like to sign a 12-month agreement with Rent Square Property Management (“referee”).

 

1. Eligibility

1. To be eligible for the program, referrers can submit referrals via the form on the Rent Square Property Management website.

2. Referrers can make as many referrals as they choose.  However, referrals should only be shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations.  Referrals should not be submitted where there is no reasonable basis for believing that the referee would benefit from being introduced to Rent Square Property Management.

3. Referrals are not valid where the referrer and the referee are one and the same person. If the property is referred by the owner, the owner is eligible for free property management by Rent Square Property Management for 4 weeks.  All other Terms and Conditions are applicable.

4. Rewards are limited to one reward per property.

5. Only referrals of properties that are in Auckland are eligible.

6. Only referrals of rental property owners that sign a 12-month agreement with Rent Square Property Management are eligible.

7. Referrals only become eligible for reward once a tenant has been place successfully for a minimum 12-month period in the referred property - and the bond and first week's rent have been received for the tenancy.

8. The Rent Square Property Management Referral Program was launched 1 November 2024. All qualified referrals are gained from this date onwards. Any referrals prior to this date will not be considered.

 

2. Qualified referrals

1. The referral is qualified when the referee is a property owner, with a rental property in Auckland that signs a minimum 12-month contract with Rent Square Property Management and who has never been a client of Rent Square Property Management before in any way, shape or form.

2. If your referral is not qualified, you will be notified via email within 14 days of the referral date.

 

3. How the Program works

1. To be eligible for the reward, the referee must be a qualified referral who signs a minimum 12-month contract with Rent Square Property Management within 3 months of the referral date.

2. The reward will be applied to you, the referrer, within 30 days of the referee signing a minimum 12-month contract with Rent Square Property Management and after a tenant was placed in the property successfully by paying the bond and first week's rent.

3. An active Rent Square Property Management client is defined as a rental property owner who has signed a minimum 12-month contract with Rent Square Property Management and has tenant placed in their rental property successfully.

4. There will be no rewards for Rent Square Property Management referrals activated outside 3 months of the referral date.

5. Once a referral is received and the referred rental property owner signs a minimum 12-month contract with Rent Square Property Management, the referrer will be notified.

6. Once a tenant has been placed in the referred rental property, the referrer will be notified and arrangements will be made for the application of the reward.

7. The reward is a 1% discount off the referrer's standard rental management fee for each successful signed property.  

8. Rent Square Property Management reserves the right to substitute the reward for a reward of equal or greater value.

 

4. Updates to the Terms

1. The terms and conditions of this program are subject to change at any time without notice. This program may also be changed, suspended or terminated at Rent Square’s sole discretion without notice. For further information please email info@rentsquare.co.nz.
